Nayagarh,(Baghuabarta): Various restrictions have been imposed for the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics as coronavirus infections continue to rise in Japan. Only six officials from India have been allowed to attend the inaugural ceremony, while athletes have been banned from wearing caps. India’s Deputy Chief Prem Kumar Burma made the announcement. He said six people from all over the country could attend the inauguration ceremony. Athletes cannot wear caps. So we recommend that athletes who have a schedule for the day after the opening ceremony take a break. The inaugural ceremony will continue until midnight. The next day, athletes with a schedule should stay away from it. The Tokyo Olympics will start on the 23rd. Shooting, boxing, archery, hockey (men’s and women’s) have been on the schedule since the 24th. A total of 228 (127 athletes) from India will take part in the Tokyo Games. Six-time World Champion Mary Kom and men’s hockey captain Manpreet Singh have been selected as India’s flag bearers for the inaugural ceremony.
