She defeated Hong Kong’s Chiyung Nagan Yi in 21-9, 21-16. This is Sindhu’s second win in the ongoing Olympics. After today’s victory, Sindhu has reached the top of the group. Throughout the match, Sindhu dominated the opponent Chiyung and easily won the match. However, with this victory, Sindhu reached the final position of 16th. In the next match, Sindhu is expected to meet Denmark’s Mia Blinchfeld. Earlier, in his first match in Group-J, she easily defeated Israel’s Senia Policarpova 21-7, 21-10.
