Nayagarh,(Baghuabarta): The Taliban has become active in Afghanistan again. The threat to democracy in the country is mounting. Amidst the crisis, there is uncertainty about Afghanistan’s future. Kandahar is the largest city in Afghanistan after Kabul. It has a population of 6.2 million. The city is surrounded by the Taliban. Many police post and check post has powed to the Taliban. Now the Afghan army will try to save this historic city. Clashes continue between the Afghan and Taliban forces in the southern part of the city. Here the Taliban is demanding the release of all political prisoners. Kandahar Jail has about 400 inmates. The Taliban is trying to free them. Notably, other countries, including India and Iran, have withdrawn their officers from Afghanistan. Kandahar has only an ambassador to Pakistan.
