Indian wicket-keeper and batsman Rishabh Pant, who is on a tour of England, tested positive for covid 19. Pant went to the Wembly Stadium in London a few days ago to watch the England and Germany match of the Euro Cup. There he posed for photos with fans while sitting among thousands of people without a mask. Pant will now stay in isolation till July 18. With the match against England set to begin, the Indian team is worried about the Test series. If his report comes negative after his completion of Isolation, he will take part in the practice match, which starts on July 20. Earlier, BCCI secretary Jai Shah had said in an email that they would be “vigilant” over the growing corona case in England. Later, another two players appeared to be positive. The news comes as the Indian team is now resting. One of the two players who has been identified as positive is recovering. The other will be tested again. According to news agency ANI, the two players had bit cold and cough. But their health condition is good. A player has now become negative while another player will be tested again on July 18, in the tenth day of player’s isolation period. According to sources, the second player will have a Test on Sunday. He will be added to the team after testing negative.
