Researchers collected 385 blood samples from the wildlife testing project between January and March last year. Of these, 152 samples were found to have antibodies. “Antibodies found in the sample have been found to be spreading the virus in deer species,” U.S. Department of Agriculture spokeswoman said. In other states, deer are more likely to be infected. So corona infection in animals is nothing new.
