Nayagarh,(Baghuabarta): Brazil has canceled contract with Bharat Biotech. Hyderabad-based Indian vaccine maker Bharat Biotech has signed an agreement with Brazil to provide 2 crore cocaxins. However, after failing a clinical trial, the Brazilian government canceled its contract with the company. The Brazilian health regulator said the government had taken such a step after the failure of the Bharat biotech’s Covid-19 vaccine Covaxin in the clinical trial. Notably, Bharat Biotech has entered into an agreement with Brazilian pharmaceutical company Presisa Medical Pharmaceuticals and NBXIA Pharmaceuticals Limited. The Brazilian health regulator has decided to cancel the contract after the submission of regulations, licensing, distribution, insurance and third-party clinical trials, and the termination of clinical trials failed. According to national media reports, after the contract was canceled, Bharat Biotech said the company had not brought any money in advance from Brazil and had not provided any vaccine to the Brazilian Ministry of Health. According to the Hyderabad-based company, it has entered into agreements with Brazil in accordance with world-class transactions and laws. Following the same rules, Brazil has also signed a contract with Bharat Biotech, the company said.
