Nayagarh,(Baghuabarta): India have won only two medals so far at the Tokyo Olympics. Mirabai Chanu won silver in weightlifting and PV Sindhu won bronze in badminton. Now the whole country is watching boxer Lovlina Borghehen. She has secured medals from the start in the 69kg category. It remains to be seen whether Lovlina will be able to give the country gold. In the quarterfinals, Lovlina secured a bronze medal as she advanced to the semifinals by defeating former Chinese world champion Nin China. Now on Wednesday she will descend on the ring to enter the final. Entering the final will ensure his silver medal. In the semi-finals, Lovlina will face Turkey’s world champion Büsenac Surmeneli. Lovlina, 23, of Assam, has arrived in the country to make history. She has secured medals from the very beginning and has joined the clubs of Bijender Singh (2009) and MC Merrick (2012).
