Tensions between the Afghan government and the Taliban have escalated. Gradually, the Taliban has begun occupying most of Afghanistan. The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the killing of a senior Afghan government official. Dawa Khan, who works for the Afghan main media and information agency, was reportedly killed by Taliban. So far, no statement has been received from the government. Taliban spokesman Jabullah Mujahideen also issued a statement condemning the killing of Dawa Khan. He said Dawa Khan had been punished for his actions. Dawa Khan is the spokesperson for the Afghan government. Nowadays, he was making statements against the Pakistani proxy war. Which is why the Taliban targeted him. According to sources, Dawa Khan was a resident of Kabul, South Afghanistan. He was holding a bachelor’s degree in law and political science from the University of Kabul. Initially, he worked as a journalist for Radio Azadi, and later started working for the government.
