The next Olympics will be held in Brisbane, Australia. Australia has already hosted the Olympics twice. Australia hosted the 1956 Melbourne and the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Australia is finalizing the IOC’s 138th session to host the 2032 Summer Olympics. Earlier, in 2017 the IOC had nominated Paris for the 2024 Olympics and Los Angeles for the 2028 Olympics. Last February, Brisbane was the city of choice for the 2032 Olympics. Qatar was interested in that. However, on June 10, the IOC’s executive board approved Brisbane. Which has now been officially announced. However, the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics, which was stalled due to COVID-19, will take place on July 23. 127 participants of India are competing in the ongoing Olympics. More medals are expected for India this season.
