Nayagarh,(Baghuabarta): Singapore is “making progress” in its fight against COVID-19 but there could be potential “surprises” like those being faced by some European countries, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said. It would take a few months, but Singapore will eventually reopen safely like Italy, which has one of the highest vaccination rates in Europe at more than 72 per cent fully vaccinated, Lee said while speaking to the media at the end of the G20 Summit in Rome on Sunday. The country, which had two strict lockdowns previously, has relaxed most of its COVID-19 rules, including the wearing of masks outdoors.
