Nayagarh,(Baghuabarta): Women have been the victims of Taliban atrocities in Afghanistan since the capture of the Taliban. Many women are even being killed after being raped. But now the Taliban has made a new claim. According to the Taliban, women in the country will have the freedom to study. Taliban’s acting higher education minister Abdul Haqani has made a big announcement about women. “Under Taliban rule, girls can study at universities,” Abdul Haqani said. So the boys and girls classes will not run together during this time. Not only that, women will also be allowed to work after study. Prior to the 1990th century, the Taliban was opposed to girls’ education. The girls were barred from going to college. Now that the Taliban has returned to power, it has encouraged girls’ education. Acting Minister of Higher Education Abdul Haqani discussed the education of girls. “People in Afghanistan can get higher education under Sharia law,” he said. “There will be separate classes for girls at the university,” he said. They will not be allowed to study with the boys. Earlier, reports of atrocities against women have been circulating since the Taliban ruled Afghanistan.
