Nayagarh,(Baghuabarta): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held talks with Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi on Afghanistan. Both leaders have spoken out about the instability caused by the Taliban. “I have spoken to the Italian prime minister,” Modi tweeted. They discussed the current situation in Afghanistan. They also discussed Afghanistan’s cooperation in the G20 and the issue of climate change. A statement from Narendra Modi’s office said, “The two leaders have discussed the issue of Afghanistan over the phone. They also condemned the Kabul bombings and stressed the need to ensure the safety of those trapped in Afghanistan. The PMO also said that the situation in Afghanistan after the incident had created a crisis on humanity and security. G20 and international cooperation are needed to address this. The two leaders discussed climate change in the G20. Both leaders expressed their views on the COP-26 conference. During the meeting, Modi thanked Italy for successfully advancing the G20 talks. Notably, the situation in Afghanistan is deteriorating day by day. The Prime Minister has been in constant talks with world leaders. He has previously held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
