Nayagarh,(Baghuabarta): India is all set to chair the meeting of the United Nations Interim Security Council (UNSC). Modi will be the first Indian Prime Minister to chair the meeting. The meeting will reportedly take place today afternoon. The meeting is expected to be attended by several world leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin. While India is chairing the UNSC for August, India is expected to focus on terrorism and maritime security. In addition to Putin, Democratic Republic of the Congo President Felix Anthony Shisekedi Shilombo and U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken are also scheduled to attend. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend in virtual mode, while the foreign minister will be in New York.
