Nayagarh,(Baghuabarta): India-Pakistan clash will be seen at the Tokyo Olympics today. Today, on the 16th day, both traditional rivals will face off in the javelin throw. India’s Niraj Chopra and Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem advanced to the finals. So the two athletes are said to be fighting for their lives for the medals. The javelin throw final will be played at 4.30pm today. In his first attempt, 23-year-old Niraj Chopra threw a 86.65m throw, while Pakistan’s Nadeem threw a 85.15m throw to advance to the final. A total of 12 players qualified for the finals, but the fight will be intense. No Indian in Olympic history has ever won a medal in the javelin throw. Niraj won the Olympic ticket last year through the Central North East Meeting Athletics Championships in South Africa. The two are expected to clash as Niraj wins gold and Nadim silver medals at the 2018 South Asian Games in India.
