Nayagarh,(Baghuabarta): There was a shooting at US Department of Defense late Tuesday night near the entrance to the Pentagon. A Pentagon police officer was stabbed to death. The killer was also killed by police. The Pentagon was closed for a while. The Arlington County Fire Department said several people were injured but it was not immediately clear if they were shot. The Pentagon did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Notably, the scene is the Pentagon’s main entrance. Thousands of people come here every day. After the incident, the Pentagon was sealed off and locked, which has since been removed.
