Nayagarh,(Baghuabarta): China launched the world’s fastest train service, the Maglev train, on Tuesday. It was inaugurated in Kingdao, a coastal city of Sangdong Province. According to official media reports, it is the fastest moving vehicle on the planet. It can reach speeds of up to 600 kilometers per hour. The project was undertaken by China in October 2016. The prototype of this high-speed train was first launched in 2019. The test was completed in June last year. According to Ding Sansan, the project’s chief engineer, the train can accommodate a maximum of 10 carriages. “Each buggy can accommodate up to 100 passengers,” he said. Such a train is the best solution for traveling within 1,500 km. However, like the traditional train, the wheel of the Maglev train does not depend on the train concept. China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC) said it was now considered a “great achievement” by China in the world of rail transport. The train is running electromagnetically. So it is being managed even if it is not connected to the rail concept. Like other trains, it does not have noise pollution and does not vibrate as much. The biggest thing is that it is completely reliable and safe. The maintenance costs for this train are also not high. The Maglev train is expected to fill the void between high-speed trains (350 km per hour) and aircraft (400 to 400 km per hour) running in the country. The Beijing-Shanghai flight takes 2 hours by plane, while the high-speed train takes 5.5 hours. The Maglev train can carry people in 2.5 hours. As a result, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States have lagged behind in terms of express services. However, in many urban areas of the country, the infrastructure for the Maglev train has not yet been developed. Which will gradually evolve, said Lu Huapu, director of the Institute of Transportation Research at Tisunghua University.
