Nayagarh, (Baghuabarta): Nayagarh District Township Police today seized 52 kg 750 grams of cannabis and arrested two persons. The arrested accused are Kandhamal district’s Pramesh Pradhan and Nuagaon Kudupakia village’s Lalit Digal. According to police, the two men were carrying cannabis from Kandhamal to Bhubaneswar today in a pickup van. Police have arrested them this morning near Nayagarh Durgaprasad’s TVS showroom. Notably they were carrying cannabis in jackfruit. Both were arrested and taken to court, Township Officer Jaydeep Mohanty said. The pickup van was also seized.
